Washburn County Busted Mugshots is a private reference site, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody or release, post bond, release a person, or obtain an official booking record; use the responsible public office for those matters.
Find the office that owns the record
For current county custody, start with the WCSO Current Confinements path. It leads to a dated PDF snapshot, so an absence is not a finding that no prior booking occurred or that no court case exists. For incident reports, booking-related records, or a correction question about a WCSO document, use the Sheriff’s Office records route.

Published Sheriff’s Office administrative or jail-counter hours were not verified in the research. Call administration or the jail before visiting; the Clerk’s published office hours appear below.
For the final public case status, use Wisconsin Circuit Court Access (WCCA) and, when a court-file copy or procedural answer is needed, the Clerk of Circuit Court. A booking is an accusation, not a conviction; WCCA and the Clerk are the appropriate court paths for a disposition.

Wisconsin’s Public Records Law, Wis. Stat. §§ 19.31–19.39, calls for a response as soon as practicable and without delay. A specific request can still require redaction, a lawful cost estimate, or more time to locate responsive records. WCSO publishes incident-report copies at $0.25 per page plus postage; photographs or other media may carry extra charges, and no fixed booking-photo price was found. Court copies are $1.25 per page, certification is $5, and a file search without a case number is $5.
- Use the Home page for the official-first county custody, weekly booking-report, and records-request overview.
- Use Most Wanted for a dated wanted-list explanation and the court follow-up path; it is not a live warrant-clearance service.
- Use WCCA and the Clerk for a public court disposition, hearing, case-file copy, or court procedure.
- Use the Wisconsin DOC Offender Locator for DOC custody or supervision, not a short-term county booking.
- Use the Federal Bureau of Prisons locator for federal custody and the ICE detainee locator for immigration detention, each of which is separate from county jail custody.
